Heidi’s Mission

My goal is to give a second chance to as many cats and kittens as possible.

I happen to be good at networking and working with rescues, volunteer transporters, and fosters from a wide area surrounding Montana.  I’m well aware that there are overpopulation issues in many areas and my mission continues to be to utilize transport to get cats and kittens to their forever homes through a network throughout Montana and including surrounding states.  I’ve fostered kittens for the local shelters for three years, learning a lot before taking on this venture myself.

As founder of Heidi’s Kittens, my mission is to remain a small and flexible organization, willing to serve where most needed and called.  I will continue to foster small numbers of felines in my home, keep a small network of volunteers, and maintain an online presence to connect cats in need to people who want them.

If you are looking for a barn cat (preferably two!), I can usually find one or two and get them to you!  Looking for a kitten, there’s probably one ready to be adopted.  Looking for an adult cat with a certain description, let me know and I’ll network with rescues.  We network only rescue animals.  We also encourage you to support the local shelters and check there for your forever animal.

Due to our small size and funding, we do not take on complex medical cases at this time.  I also works full-time, as do most of my volunteers.

We do the best we can for the most we can.
